The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Social isolation can lead to emotional distress and substance abuse relapse. Coping with this stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.
We are adapting services to allow for telehealth visits during the ongoing social restrictions resulting from COVID-19.
In-person sessions are still available and we will be expecting you for scheduled sessions unless you contact us to make other arrangements. Cancelled appointments are still expected to cancel at least 24-hours in advance.
Here is a link https://www.here-4-you.com/scheduling.html to schedule an appointment. My website shows my experience, rates, specializations, etc. You can also reach me at the office during regular hours at 540-635-3518 or 24/7 on my cell at 540-533-0715. Feel free to text or call if needed.
As always, if you, or someone you care about, is feeling overwhelmed with emotions like sadness, depression, or anxiety, or feel like you want to harm yourself or others call 911. In a nonemergency, you can call the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) Disaster Distress Helpline: 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746. (TTY 1-800-846-8517).
